Shots Fired at Harmon Cove in Secaucus

Multiple shots were fired at approximately 6 o’oclock on Sunday night at the Harmon Cove condo complex along the Hackensack River in Secaucus. Several residents of the gated community told reporters they heard numerous gunshots. As of 8 pm, it had not been determined if more than one person had been shot.

Secaucus Mayor Mike Gonnelli was on the scene, as were Secaucus, Jersey City and East Rutherford Police. The Hudson County S.W.A.T. unit was also investigating.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office is now in charge of the investigation.
