A couple of notes about this opening. There will be no cars allowed in the park, as I want it open for passive use only. I will also refrain from opening dog parks and playgrounds just yet.
Here is the advice: Enjoy the park! Ive kept city parks open because there has been no abuse of this important part of our lives, however, I am imploring all of us to use them with care! I am asking you to all be smart. Use common sense and maintain distances. Do NOT congregate.
I’m confident that our community will do this right. Thank you for your cooperation and we’ll talk tomorrow.
