With so many patients currently hospitalized due to the coronavirus, a Union City nurse is asking for the public’s help so loved ones who are now prohibited from visiting their relatives can Face Time with them.

Miryam Anci-Jimenez has worked as a nurse in just about every department of St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston over the past five years.  She says many patients, particularly senior citizens, are unable to communicate with relatives because they don’t have cell phones.   That’s why she and her fellow nurses are asking for the generosity of the general public to make Face Time communication possible for them.

Anci-Jimenez is hoping people will donate used I-Pads for these patients.

If you would like to make a donation, you can text her at (551) 482-0400.  You can also send her an e-mail at jimenezm@outlook.com.

All donations would be greatly appreciated.
