Via Transportation Provides Affordable Rides in Jersey City

For the past two years, Via Transportation has partnered with Jersey City to provide the only publicly-funded transportation partnership with a municipality in New Jersey.  The service gives riders an affordable option to crowded buses, taxis and other ride-share options such as Uber and Lyft.  It’s simple to use their app and lets customers know where to pick up their ride.

If need be, the service will pick up and drop off customers at their residence.  This service is provided to senior citizens and the disabled who are unable to walk to the designated Via drop off and pickup locations.

Pricing is $2 for Ward E and $3.50 everywhere else in Jersey City.  Hours are Monday through Friday from 6 am until 10 pm and from 6 am until 8 pm on Saturdays.

To learn more just visit or call 201-514-6228.  The company’s app is available to download at GooglePlay and the App Store.
