The Weehawken Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.
20-year old Emilio Acosta has been missing since Wednesday night, December 17th. His last confirmed sighting was at approximately 12:45 AM on Thursday morning, December 18th near the Daniel Webster School in Weehawken. Police say he was seen walking, but after a bus passed, he was no longer visible. It is unclear whether he boarded the bus or turned a corner.
According to police he was wearing:
• Cream-colored NY Yankees sweatshirt
• Blue Adidas ski jacket
• Grey sweatpants
• Black Timberland boots
Acosta is described as:
• Height: 6’1”
• Weight: ~190 lbs
Police ask if you live near Daniel Webster School, any nearby streets or intersections, to please:
• Check Ring, Nest, or other home security cameras
• Review footage from 12:15 AM – 1:15 AM on Thursday
• Look for any pedestrian matching his description or buses stopping
• Even brief or unclear footage may help establish his direction of travel
