West New York Mayor Gabriel Rodriguez and the Board of commissioners, in conjunction with the Hudson County Department of Health and Human Services, are sponsoring a food drive this afternoon at 1 o’clock for residents in need. The event is being held at 63rd Street and Dewey Avenue.
Food will be available on a first come, first serve basis until supplies last.
Masks must be worn and social distancing will be maintained.
Mayor Rodriguez stated, “During this COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Commissioners and I continue to take proactive steps to safely make sure every West New Yorker has access to the food they need. Thanks to the Hudson County Dept. of Heath and Human Services we are able to have another great food drive.”
