The Town of West New York is in mourning this Easter Sunday afternoon, as it has been announced that the municipality’s Senior Citizens Coordinator Cary Parets has passed away.
The news was announced on Facebook by WOMEN for WNY2.
Parets was a graduate of Memorial High School. She previously worked at the West New York Police Department from March 1999 to February 2004.
No cause of death was revealed.

She was a great person, mother, grandmother, and community leader. Loved by everyone she met!! She had a loving smile and personality that lit up the room. She will be truly missed
