Jersey City Police said in radio transmissions that the victim’s grandmother called 911 and reported that her grandson had been shot. Police said in the transmissions that two people on a porch on Wegman Parkway were targeted by a passerby. One of them was struck.
Police also stated that a vehicle was hit by gunfire, but the gunman fled the scene.
