Light poles in parts of North Bergen now have a new look. It’s all part of the township’s ongoing initiative to enhance and beautify Bergenline Avenue.
Officials have partnered with Breez Banners to add colorful banners on the street to support local businesses. The banners have been added to light poles from 70th Street north along the avenue, promoting vendors in our area.
The banners are designed by North Bergen High School sophomore Mya Rivera. The graphic design student submitted her vision and was selected by Mayor Nicholas Sacco to represent the township.
Similar banners will soon be coming to Broadway to further promote local businesses. The banner design will rotate several times a year, so get ready for some new images around wintertime!
