Secaucus, NJ
A 16-year-old male from Union City, NJ, was arrested last night following an altercation at the Regal Movie Theater, located at 650 Plaza Drive. The incident, which began as a dispute, escalated into an assault, prompting a response from Secaucus Police.
At approximately 9:26 PM, officers were dispatched to the theater after reports of a violent confrontation. Upon arrival, they discovered that the altercation had turned physical, leading to the arrest of the teenager. The juvenile was charged with Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(1)] and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D]—specifically, a rock used during the incident.
Following his arrest, the juvenile was issued a complaint warrant and taken into custody. Officers from the Hudson County Correctional Facility were called to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transport the teen to the Essex County Juvenile Detention Center.
