Update: Arrests Made In Multiple Bayonne Armed Robberies

The Bayonne Police Department issued the following press release this afternoon on the arrests of numerous suspects in various armed robberies:

After an extensive and swift investigation, the City of Bayonne Police Department Detective Bureau arrested Nnamdi C. Atumudo and Josh Noncius and charged them accordingly for their involvement in robberies that occurred in the City of Bayonne.
Nnamdi C. Atumudo, 22 years old of Irvington, New Jersey, was arrested on February 13, 2020 at his home without incident. Nnamdi C. Atumudo was charged for robberies that occurred on February 9, 2020, February 11, 2020 and February 12, 2020.
He was charged with the following:
3 Counts of Robbery (2C:15-1A(1))
3 Counts of Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose (2C:39-4)
3 Counts of Possession of a Handgun (2C:39-5B)
3 Counts of Conspiracy (2C:5-2A(1))
Additionally, Josh Noncius, 20 years old of Orange, New Jersey, was arrested at his home without incident on February 14, 2020.
                                                                                                  Josh Noncius was charged with robberies that occurred on February 9, 2020 and February 11, 2020.  He was charged with the following:
2 Counts of Robbery (2C:15-1A(1))
2 Counts of Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose (2C:39-4)
2 Counts of Possession of a Handgun (2C:39-5B)
2 Counts of Conspiracy (2C:5-2A(1))
On February 9, 2020, at approximately 0523 hours, the City of Bayonne Police Department responded to the area of East 12th Street on a report of a robbery. Upon their arrival, officers spoke with the victim who informed them that two males, whom stated that they had a gun, just robbed him of his wallet. An immediate investigation
was initiated by the City of Bayonne Police Department Detective Bureau.
On February 11, 2020, at approximately 0124 hours, the City of Bayonne Police Department responded to the area of West 50th
Street on a report of a robbery. Upon speaking to the victim, officers were informed that the victim was robbed by two males, one of whom
brandished a handgun. The victim was robbed of his money, cellphone and car key.  An immediate investigation was initiated.
On February 12, 2020, at approximately 2314 hours, the City of Bayonne Police Department responded to the area of West 45th Street on a report of a robbery. Upon arriving to the scene, officers were informed by the two victims that they had just been robbed by two males who were armed with, what appeared to be, a handgun. One
victim was also struck on the top of the head with the weapon causing a laceration. An immediate investigation was subsequently initiated.
The City of Bayonne Police Department Detective Bureau is still working to identify the second actor in the West 45th Street incident.

in the
area of West 45th Street
and charges are pending.
All three armed
robberie
s have now been solved
and no further suspects are being sought.
