AYUDA: La Asociación Cívica Brian P. Stack celebra mañana el regalo anual de juguetes

For the 40th year in a row, the Brian P. Stack Civic Association will hold its annual, children’s toy giveaway tomorrow, Saturday, December 19, although it will be a bit different than in years’ past due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Instead of holding the event indoors at several local schools, tomorrow’s giveaway is taking place OUTDOORS.  The locations are as follows:

• De las 10 am hasta las 1 pm en la Escuela Edison en el centro de la ciudad en 507 West Street y en la Escuela de Washington en la Avenida de Nueva York.
• Entre las 2 y las 5 de la tarde en la Escuela Robert Waters. La escuela está ubicada en 2800 Summit Avenue, y en la Escuela Colin Powell en la calle 15.

The toy giveaway is open to all Union City school children, ten years of age and younger.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Social distancing will be observed and participants are required to wear a mask.  Parents are asked to go to the school closest to their home.

The Civic Association reminds residents that the toys were not paid for using taxpayer money.
