Early Morning Shooting in Paterson, Man Treated For Multiple, Non-Fatal Wounds

SHOOTING IN AREA OF 12th AVENUE AND EAST 19th STREET IN PATERSON

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announce that at approximately 1:05 a.m. on April 19, 2021, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 40-year-old male Clifton resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey seeking treatment for multiple non-fatal gunshot wounds.

A potential crime scene was located in the area of 12th Avenue and East 19th Street in Paterson, New Jersey where it is believed the shooting occurred.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
