Hoboken completa las renovaciones de la carrera de perros de Maxwell Park

Man’s best friend has a new, comfortable place to play in Hoboken, as the third dog run in the city has been rehabilitated this year.  City Hall issued the following press release describing the upgrades at Maxwell Park:                                                                                                                                                                                                        The City of Hoboken last week officially re-opened the dog run at Maxwell Park after several months of renovations. The upgrades include expanding the area of the dog run, new benches, a dual water fountain, pet waste stations, and new fencing. The new dog run at Maxwell Park is the third dog run to be renovated this year, following upgrades at Stevens Park and Church Square Park.

“I’m very pleased that Hoboken now has a new, modern dog run at Maxwell Park,” said Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla. “I’m confident that these new features will be well utilized by our dog owners, and I’m thankful to all of the residents who have provided continued feedback to my office. Thank you also to the Maxwell Park Board for funding these improvements.”

In addition to the new turf dog runs at Maxwell, Church Square and Stevens Parks, the City installed a brand-new dog run at 2^nd and Hudson Streets in 2019.

Hoboken has also installed over 30 pet waste stations in Hoboken in partnership with property owners this year.
