Domestic Violence Response Team Volunteers

The following blotter contains un unedited press release provided by the Hoboken Police Department:

Arrestee: Mina Lawandy Age 20 Jersey City NJ

Charges: Possession of CDS Paraphernalia, Possession of CDS Marijuana, Suspended Drivers License, Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle

Arrest date and time: 1/1/19  1:52 am

Officers Involved: PO Steven Albert

Incident Details: While on patrol, Officer Albert observed defendants vehicle at a traffic light. A random registration check found the owner of the vehicle to have a suspended license. A motor vehicle stop was conducted and as he approached the driver side door, he detected the smell of burnt marijuana coming from inside. As Officer Albert spoke to the driver, he observed suspected CDS Marijuana inside in plainview. The driver was asked to step out of the vehicle where he was safely placed under arrest. The defendant was transported to headquarters where he was processed and received a summons to appear in court.


Arrestee: Robert Lombardi Age 22 Oradell NJ

Charges: Disorderly Conduct

Arrest Date and time: 1/1/19  1:39 am

Officers Involved: PO Tyler Soto, PO Fabian Quinones

Incident Details: As Officer Soto was issuing a summons to a male, he was approached in an aggressive manner by the defendant. He began to yell and curse at the officers as they tended to another matter. The defendant was asked to step away and leave the area. The defendant refused to comply with their request and continued to yell and curse at the officers as people passed by. He continued to cause a scene and was eventually placed under arrest and charged with Disorderly Conduct. He was processed and given a summons to appear in court.


Arrestee: Carter Colhower age 24 Pennington NJ

Charges: Disorderly Conduct

Officers Involved: PO Michael Depalma


Incident Details: Officer DePalma was stopped by the defendant who requested assistance for his girlfriend. The defendant’s girlfriend was visibly intoxicated. Defendant Carter became aggressive towards his girlfriend, demanding she leave. Due to her level of intoxication, it was determined that she would need medical attention. The defendant was not cooperative and began to prevent the medical technicians from assisting the female. He was warned several times but refused. He was placed under arrest and processed. He received a summons to appear in court.


Arrestee: Justin Dominguez age 23 East Hanover NJ

Charges: Disorderly Conduct

Arrest Date and Time: 1/1/19  12:30 am

Officers Involved: POI Michael Losurdo, Det Anthony Hochstadter

Incident Details: Officer Losurdo and Det. Hochstatder were stopped in the area of 1st Washington Street. The staff from La Isla Restaurant refused to allow the defendant inside due to his level of intoxication. The defendant refused to leave and became abusive towards the staff. The officers warned the defendant several times but he refused to leave the area and continued his behavior. He was then placed under arrest and processed. He was given a summons to appear in court.


Arrestee: Dylan Santos Age 22 Rahway NJ

Charges: Criminal Mischief

Arrest date and time: 12/31/18 11:31 pm

Officers Involved: PO Samuel Flores, PO Jonathan Lyons

Incident Details: Officers were dispatched to the area of Basile’s Pizzeria on a report of damage to property. Officers found the defendant with a New Jersey Transit Officer. The victim advised the officers he observed the defendant kick and damage the window to the establishment. The estimated value was approximately $1000.00. The defendant was placed under arrest and given a summons to appear in court.
