In August 2025, the Secaucus Police Department’s Anti-Crime Unit received information that Anmol Singh was distributing cocaine from his 3rd Street residence. Throughout the investigation, detectives from the Secaucus Police Anti-Crime surveilled Anmol Singh and observed him actively engaging in the illegal distribution of cocaine. The investigation revealed Anmol Singh was utilzing his 3rd Street residence and a residence on Orchard Street in Garfield, belonging to Olivia Tworek, a female acquaintance of his, to further his illicit drug distribution scheme.
On July 16, 2026, at approximately 7:50 P.M, detectives observed Anmal Singh engage in a drug transaction on North End Drive in Secaucus, with Danielle Josephs. Detectives stopped Danielle Josephs and she was found in possession of a quantity of cocaine and Xanax and placed her under arrest.
Shortly thereafter, members of the Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit, Detective and Patrol Divisions, Secaucus K-9 Unit and Detectives from the Garfield Police Department stopped Anmol Singh’s Honda CRV on Franklin Street. The vehicle was being operated by Amir Abi-Rafeh and both Anmol Singh and Olivia Tworek were passengers. At the time of the stop, Anmol Singh was found in possession of Xanax and Olivia Tworek was found in possession of cocaine and both were placed under arrest.
Upon stopping the vehicle, Secaucus Police K-9 Brix indicated that narcotics were present in the vehicle and a Court authorized search of the vehicle was conducted. During the search of the vehicle, a 9mm Taurus handgun, multiple high capacity magazines, twenty five (25) 9mm hollow point rounds, one-hundred-sixty-three (163) full metal jacket rounds were seized. The handgun was loaded and had a round in the chamber. The handgun was discovered to have been stolen from North Carolina.
Additionally, approximately fifty (50) grams of cocaine, nineteen (19) grams of Ketamine, one-hundred-thirty (130) Xanax pills, six (6) Oxycodone Hydrochloride pills, forty-one (41) Oxycodone pills, five (5) doses of Acid, eight (8) morphine sulfate pills, thirty-eight (38) grams of psilocybin mushrooms, as well as $1988.62 in United States Currency, suspected to be proceeds of the distribution scheme, were seized.
Detectives then conducted simultaneous Court authorized searches of the residences located on 3rd Street in Secaucus and Orchard Street in Garfield. Additional evidence was seized from the Secaucus residence, while additional cocaine and one (1) fired 9mm handgun casing were seized from the Garfield residence.
Anmol Singh, 35, of Secaucus is charged with eight counts of Possession of CDS, four counts of Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance, four counts of Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 1,000 feet of a School, Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 500 feet of a Park, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Drug Paraphernalia, Receiving Stolen Property, Unlawful Possession of a Handgun, Possession of a Firearm while Committing a CDS Offense, Possession of High Capacity Magazines and Possession of Hollow Point Ammunition. Amir Abi-Rafeh, 29, of West New York was charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine. Anmol Singh and Amir Abi-Rafeh were lodged in the Hudson County Jail.
Olivia Tworek, 27, of Garfield was charged with Possession of CDS. Danielle Josephs, 44, of Hasbrouck Heights was charged with two counts of Possession of CDS. Josephs also had active warrants from Pequannock with a bail amount of $1,000 and Netcong with a bail amount of $500. Both were released on a summons, pending their appearance in Court.
