Teenage Male, Victim of Non-Life Threatening Gunshot Wound in Passaic

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman have announced that at approximately 11:29 p.m. last night, Tuesday, March 30, members of the Passaic Police Department were advised that an 18-year-old male resident of Passaic had responded to Saint Mary’s Hospital in Passaic for treatment of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Passaic Police were further advised that there was a second 18-year-old male victim from Rutherford, New Jersey who was not injured.

Passaic Police Detectives subsequently located a crime scene in the area of 4th Street and East Monroe Street in Passaic.

This investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
