Un hombre de Union City arrestado por agresión sexual a dos mujeres en Bergenline Avenue en el oeste de Nueva York

West New York Police have arrested 25-year old, Union City resident Kevin J. Varela of 150 49th Street, apartment 1, for sexually assaulting two women on Bergenline Avenue in West New York on July 13.

According to a police report obtained by Hudson TV, Varela is accused of groping one woman’s left side of her buttocks while she was walking northbound on Bergenline.  This is a fourth degree crime.  The second victim told police she was also sexually assaulted.

When police arrived on the scene, several people pointed down the street in the direction Varela had fled.  He was subsequently apprehend by West New York police officers.

Varela, who did not know the female victims, appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the alleged crime according to the police report.

The date of Varela’s first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Jersey City has not been announced.
