Weehawken High School Honors Retired Tennis Coach

Before Monday’s tennis match between the Weehawken High School varsity girls team and Elmwood Park, Athletic Director Brian Fisher honored retired tennis coach, Simon Finkelstein.

Finkelstein, who stepped down last spring after coaching both the boys and girls tennis teams for thirteen years, received a plaque from Fischer for his years of service to the high school’s tennis squads.

In addition, four members of the girls tennis team who will be graduating at the end of this academic year received flowers and plaques for their participation on the team.

Congratulations go out to Coach Finkelstein on his career.  Ashley Dominguez, the tennis team’s former assistant coach, has taken over as head coach.
