Former Union City Resident Allison Strong is Making Strides in Hollywood

Born in Hoboken and raised in Union City and of Colombian descent, Allison Strong has been making a name for herself in Hollywood, starring in various productions, including The Week Of with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock.

Her love for theatre began at an early age, while taking classes at the Performing Arts Center, formerly known as the John Harms Center in Englewood. Strong proceeded to nurture her talents with theatrical productions at the Grace Theatre Workshop in Union City.

She went on to study musical theatre at Montclair State University.

At the age of 18, Strong landed her first role on Broadway, alongside John Stamos in Bye Bye Birdie. When asked what she had on her bucket list of things to accomplish, Strong’s first response was skydiving.

This talented young woman is definitely reaching for the stars.
