Union City Coronavirus Update: 89 Confirmed Cases

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update for March 29, 2020.

Union City’s confirmed cases currently at 89. We are asking residents to please not to panic and to continue to stay home. If you do go outside, please keep safe social distances of at least 6 feet apart. Always practice good hygiene habits. Residents should be advised of the following updates:

• Many mortgage lenders are offering a 90-day grace period on mortgage payments. Residents should check with their lenders for specific details.

• PSE&G and Verizon are temporarily suspending shut offs

• Evictions and rent increases are also temporarily suspended

• Hudson County is operating a COVID-19 Testing Center in Secaucus from 10 AM-5PM (Monday through Friday). Testing is done by appointment only. For an appointment, please call 201-388-1097.
