Union City Schools Prepared For Return To Classrooms Full Time

With students slated to return to classes in Union City on September 7th, the Board of Education has been working hard to ensure that students, teachers and staff are kept safe as the Delta variant continues to spike in parts of New Jersey.  Following executive orders by Governor Phil Murphy, the District will do all it can to sanitize classrooms, hallways, bathrooms and school buses both before and after the schools are reopened.

Hudson TV reporter Jeff Henig sat down with Union City Superintendent of Schools Silvia Abbato to discuss the measures put into place by the Board of Education as the opening day of classes approaches.

Superintendent Abbato says the District’s top priority is to make sure that everyone is kept safe when schools welcome students back for in-building instruction next month.
